Try on-line to J. C. Whitney, look for a link to their offering for motorcycles. I think they may even have a separate catalog like they do for pickups and SUVs.

Other than that I’d just run a search on one or the other search engines for the specific item you want: “motorcycle pet carrier.” Should that not yield results, try narrowing the category; you know, “motorcycle carrier,” which will probably yield you vehicles to transport motorcycles, but might also include what you’re generally looking for. Try every way to list the item for a search that you can.

motorcycle security–: Do Motorcycle Gangs still control the concert scenes & provide security 4 the bands like they did in the 60′s
I haven’t seen this happening in the US as it once did. Do other countries openly have Bikers working security like they did in the “old days”? I hear many of the US crew are now touring the world. I wonder if they will make a comeback too, alongside the old bands that seemed to have loved them so.

No, but my little town is biker phobiac when we have our Sandbass Festival we have every kind of music EXCEPT rock..we used to have many bikers here, pretty rough ones too, but that was 30 years ago…but the old codgers in charge..are still nervous..lol

*lol* We own a restaurant in the Angeles National Forest. The “Bikers” of today are retired police officers and firemen. They are our veterans. They are the greatest people you’d ever want to meet! These guys (and gals) are VERY civic minded and are always doing runs for one charity or another. We at The Big Oaks are proud to be a part of all the wonderful things they are doing in this community. They were probably doing security because they were off duty police or sheriff…:-D

The true outlaw motorcycle gangs now typically drive vans and cars with the motorcycles only at ceremonial type events for their organized crime gangs.

Most people you see riding today are not real “outlaw bikers” but new to the motorcycling hobby and pretending to be “badazz”. The true outlaw bikers have denim vests with their gang “colors” on them but I have heard that this is even getting downplayed since the colors make them too identifable to law enforcement.

Excerpts from New York Times article from 2002:

“The Pagans, whose Long Island chapter was virtually shut down by a series of racketeering arrests in 1998, rounded up dozens of out-of-state members, drove to Plainview in vans and cars and crashed the Hells Angels-sponsored event, ”swinging ax handles at everything in sight,” said Leonard Lato, an assistant United States attorney in Central Islip who is one of two federal prosecutors handling the case”

Being from the San Francisco, area, we had the Hell’s Angel’s and the Sonny Bargers types Now they too are dead or Seniors. That’s not to say that their are not still Motorcycle Gangs. You will still find the Wan-ta be’s, Ex Cons and such. but they pretty well keep a low profile, to stay away from the cops. But it has pretty well calmed down . Now is is recreational bikers, Patriot Guards and retired people who like motor bikes. You always have the charity toy drives during the holidays.
Most concert security these days is by private security company’s.
